In conjunction with SOFA SUNDAES, we're pleased to bring you fun, dancing & shenanagans, happy vibes & happy people.
It was a binglybongly weekender at the 491 Gallery on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th March 2007:
(from 9pm - sunrise) SATURDAY NIGHT will be a fabulous BINGLYBONGLY House Party with some great DJs spinning the wheels of steel (and some laptops).
Jon Bongly & SJB, Vicks & Mishkin, Mits (UTI), Paygan and Pete Ardron are confirmed so-far, with some special guests. . . watch this space !!!
Upstairs will be a no smoking area for relaxing with chilled background music - a crash space for the little ones will be at one end of this room. People wishing to sleep over are welcome. (Sat night / Sun morning).

Plus... OLGA'S WORKSHOP... Material World, a recycling revamping textile workshop for the whole family.
Have u an outgrown t-shirt, worn out trousers or a plain boring dress hiding in your wardrobe? Do you want to transform it into a personal, made to measure garment or trendy shopping bag?
We will use basic sewing, restyling and print-making techniques fun and suitable for all ages.
With simple rug-rag weaving little ones will learn the Art of Transformation, the little older ones, the Art of Inspiration as they design their own t-shirt print, and the rest rekindle the Art of Imagination while personalizing an otherwise bland wardrobe.
Please bring with you scissors, pen and paper, bits of trims, your bits of material, sewing kit and sewing machine if u have got any of those as our resources as limited.
SUNDAY UPSTAIRS AT GALLERY SPACE FROM NOON TO 6 PM.

You can find the 491 by going to Leytonstone Underground Station, turn left at the exit on Grove Green Road, and walk about 50 yards, you'll be there in a minute.

binglybongly T shirts
At last we can all now own our very own piece of binglybonglyness in the shape of T shirts. Yes, after much struggle we found some shirts we like and printed them with the design we like, and the result - well, we like it. Just go here. Enjoy!

about Sofa:
Basically: its a chillout day for everyone - We even mean your kids if you have some, they're very welcome and we even let them put some entertainment on for us !
You can't bring pets with teeth to this event for the safety of the little ones - (even jacque custo has to go away for the day)
The army of Sancha Googly eyes & other peeps get together and make a real good effort 2 make the gallery nice and welcoming for you all.
Lights & visuals will be jammed into the downstairs space - (please donate any home made visuals you want ..)
